Travel Altimeter & Elevation App Reviews

The app performs exactly as advertised, with very little intrusion. The GPS coordinates are a nice touch but unnecessary. Id rather have a compass display showing me the named directions in which Im traveling (N, SSE, etc.). Just my personal preference. Great app!

The altimeter is a nifty tool but the compass hand ticks clockwise like a second hand till the needle is 180 degrees off and resets to true north. Unfortunately this repeats.

We use this app to help us understand when we might have breathing difficulties as we travel all over North America. It also has been helpful as we hike in mountainous areas.

Otherwise it is pretty good. Being able to track your progress as you travel would make it 5 stars.

Plus its quick and easy

Works as advertised. Downloaded app and it worked immediately. Wait a couple of seconds for the reading to stabilize.

Who could ask for more?

This app gives me latitude and longitude as well as elevation with an accuracy that is more than acceptable.

Love it.

Every time I try to use this app while flying, it freezes up.

Great little app to quickly check your altitude, especially if youre looking for cooler temperatures!
