Im standing at James Whitcomb Rileys grave on the crown at crown point cemetery in Indy, I know this is EXACTLY 841 above sea level and have had several people confirm that in their cars and other apps. This reads 805 and very slowly climbs to 822. I have my location services turned on. ??? Thats pretty far off for my taste.

Used it when hiking in the Smokies. At points with no reception it was still able to give me my altitude. Based on the map where I was it is surprisingly accurate. Highly recommended.

This makes touring the Rockies more fun! Great tool - especially for free.

We went hiking in the Appalachian mountains this past week and Altimeter was a priceless tool! Every time we reached a peak or overlook, everybody waned to know the elevation. I downloaded this free app in hopes that it would come in handy, and indeed it did. It was accurate, informative, and (needless to say) useful during our vacation. Ill definitely be using this app for our future trips to the mountains. Thanks!

Large display of the altitude. Exactly what I was looking for.

As part of my exercise program I climb some pretty fair hills in Tennessee. What I was looking for was an app to tell me what I had climbed, since I was so out of breath. This app is quick and accurate compared to others Ive tried.

This app does just what I needed and is fun to use as a reference.

I use this when Im driving long distance. Its nice to know driving elevation especially over mountains. Use it a lot.
