We are car touring across the country and find this app so great while we drive and for the morning run!
This is a great app especially when you live in the Pacific Northwest. Good App!
I frequently find myself on road trips and for several years have wanted an altimeter for my vehicles. Almost bought a watch with one but found them to be over priced. This app gives me a combination of altitude and GPS coordinates which is all I wanted. Simple app - love it!
Theres no frills, and thats just what I like.....easy to use and read. Just the basics, just what I wanted.
Handy app. Ive been using it at least once a week. Its interesting to see the different elevations around you.
Used it when I climbed a mountain and track my progress. Very handy!

Some bad moments

Its crap, does nothing and what it does do is totally inaccurate and pointless
It shows no digits at all no altitude. All location service settings are on, like all the other apps. Again ipad mini 2, deep in the Norwegian mountain forests, and no apple devices last long with accurate info. Even the compass. One day maybe apple will make something that works in the real world, nature. Different ipads, iphone, ipod touch same thing. All settings open. 4g internet is not the problem. Any one else brings an iphone and co, here, lets me use it, and gps and compass stop working. Nature has piezo electricity from granite, and weird gamma radiation, millions of cos over minutes only, not hours. "Weird gamma" is different to gamma.
Not very accurate because the altitude keeps changing without moving the receiving computer.
My altitude never changes even when Ive rode the elevator up the Calgary tower.
Great app, I thought, when I first set it up at home. Unfortunately, it doesnt travel well, as everywhere else, the readings invariably, for latitude, longitude, and elevation, all read 0. Ive tried it all over Canada, and here in Italy. Too bad.
It has given me everything from -14m to +16m sitting in my living room lounger. I have an ocean-side home. Reading SHOULD be within a couple of metres to 0.
